I love MBAs! January 22, 2006

Well this is not a U-turn from my last
post, but I have sobered up considerably after that time and
now I dont feel that much bad about my friends and others
who are/were aiming for CAT. Have to go out now, will
complete the post after attending the second marriage of the
day…..
…..hmmm Yesterday I was not in a position to write for the
blog, so continuing from where I left…..
Maybe its the effect of going to two marriages back-to-back
or of venting my thoughts on the blog, I feel on top of the
world again!! Theres almost nothing that spicy food and loud
music (except constipation and headache of course) can cure.
So, I am back in business with Vinayak planning about the
latest project of Robotics club and me getting quotes from
the shops for making the arena for the wall-following event
in the
Pecfest. And now all the harsh feelings for the other
guys are gone!!
But, haan this being the last semester before placements
start, I need to mend few of my habits. Now is the time to
start “Morris Mano” and “Sedra-Smith” again. Because for
placements I will have to compete with those fellas who have
always got 9-10% more than me! And they will compete in
territories not-so-favorable to me (read written tests and
interviews). This means first of all I need to increase my
study hours( even one fifth of the time people like
herr spend will be sufficient)…and secondly do
something for the interviews……communicating in English a
bit more will be a good starting point……

have a common love now :d.next is best of luck for your pecfest and robotics event.
Regarding the placement…yes you have to get a stronghold
of basics for the placements. Last year all IITs decided
that placements will be only in last semester.. perhaps this
decision is going to change and we might also have
placements next semester. So anyways all the best for the placements or CAT or
whatever you choose. The ultimate aim should be to excel in
whatever you do.Bye for now.

First of all let me make it clear that I dont have any
particular affinity to MBAs. The only reason for chossing
the title of this post was that in the previos post I had
written few things which seem harsh to me especially about
people who are preparing for CAT. Now as most of my good
friends fall in this category…….so…..to make things
even, I used this title.Abhishek
Hmmm well I have no plans for CAT so better if u give all ur
wishes for placements -
