Thinking aloud

Doctor April 3, 2006

Well “doctor” seems rather unlikely “nickname” for an
engineering under-grad student. But this is what everyone
calls him. He’s one of the very few “genuine techies” of our
college and a very interesting guy. Here is one piece of his
work which I found in his Orkut’s “About me” column…..

here i am

doing what i always wanted

running in the sixth gear

wishing i could go faster

late for class, as usual

jumping over all the
puddles

from last night’s rain

that i danced in

and then slept late

playin with the strangest
toys.

i heard a shrill from
behind “DOCTOR!!!”

and shouted back “CLASS”

without even turning back

and then i stopped suddenly

was it her ??? was it??

i could miss any damn class
for her

i turned back to see her
running towards me

but she never called me
DOC.. never..

she handed me a strange
file

and said “here u r doc”

what is this ????

“this is the
assignment…..

dat i know u forgot about”

damn… No not again.

we reached class 5 min late

and the khadus threw both
of us out.

sittin in the cafe with
her,

i wished i were a poet

i could say all i want

without ever partin my
lips.

today is 14 feb man..

i said to myself.

u wouldnt get a better
chance

but what if she says no

why should she…

why shouldnt she…

but u r a nice man

so what??? millions are…

“u said somethin??”

no… did u hear
somethin???

no… just felt like it…

koi naa… u copy ur
assignment

else u’ll be kicked out of
d next class as well

did i say it????

I have seen many people copying poems of different writers
in their profiles but never came across such a nice attempt
at writing one from the scratch!! Keep it up Ravs!!
